Kennedy Cady So basically, this book was really good, it starts off with Fiona Tarsis waking up not knowing how she got in her bed. She finds a mark on her hand not knowing what it is but knowing she must hide it. She also notices that her body has matured. And as she looks around her house, everything is destroyed and dull, as if no one had lived there for ages. She doesn't see her mom, dad or siblings and can't remember where they went and why they would leave her. She looks around, and the neighborhood is abandoned.
The book itself was extremely hard to stop reading, and that's a lot coming from someone like myself that dislikes reading. It's quite suspenseful and addicting. The amount of detail put into the book is crazy, giving perfect explanations of the settings, feelings, and characteristics of the people involved. As it states in the beginning it explains that Fiona wakes up in a ghost town with no family or even a neighborhood.
I would strongly recommend the book to anyone who likes suspense and mystery. I feel that most teens would like the book and the back story from where it comes from. Teens would like the book in my opinion because of the action that goes into the story aswell as the change in settings over the period of time.
