Around the Year in 52 Books discussion

I'm looking for a challenge that counts the number of hours read as opposed to the number of books. While I love following prompts for the ATY, I feel challenging myself to simply spend more hours reading is a great goal in itself.

The Nashville Public Library Summer Reading Challenge is based on the number of minutes read. There is a goal to read 12 million minutes collectively. I participate in this to help support my branch library reaching its goal, but I find tracking the time spent reading very difficult. While I do read in uninterrupted blocks (sometimes) much of my reading is 10 minutes here and 20 minutes there. Personally, tracking pages is much easier and I participate in a challenge that tracks pages read. To hit my goal of 40,000 or more pages read, I have to spend time reading.
