Adding my folder to the list, to track the series that I've finished and those that are in the final stages (as I keep forgetting about them!)

Joanna Stafford by Nancy BilyeauI loved how strong this trilogy started, in history and in MC. But I felt like the plot, characterization, and historic immersion waned as the trilogy progressed, which was a bit disappointing. Still, a solid 4 stars.

I need to read the 5th book so badly! I didn't realize until recently there was one.

How sad is it that I have the first several novels for this series on my shelves but have yet to get to reading them?

It's fantastic! I didn't know that I'd like it, because it jumps forward in time, but it really works. :) I hope you love it!

Awwwww.....I used to buy all the books in a series before I'd even read the second, so absolutely no judgement here. :D If/when you read them, I'd love to hear how they hold up (since they were written almost 40 years ago).
Phèdre's Trilogy by Jacqueline CareyThis was an eye opening take on fantasy for me, and I pretty well devoured this trilogy. I have enjoyed her subsequent trilogies in the world, but not as much as this one.
The Sundering Series by Jacqueline CareyI really enjoyed this duology, which explores the concepts of good and evil.
Wayfarers by Becky ChambersI really enjoyed the cultural side of space exploration in these stories. Plus, ensemble scifi is my jam.
Underland Chronicles by Suzanne CollinsOne of the most enjoyable Middle Grade series I've ever read.
Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana FranklinThis series made me fall in love with medieval forensic theory and medieval science and medicine.

This is another one I really want to get to!

Dublin Murder Squad by Tana French I liked the first book the best, for its eerie unresolved mystery of the past, it's touch of the supernatural, it's deeply flawed MC (who makes a few realistically bad judgement calls), and it's twisty-but-true-crime modern mystery. But truly, this entire series does a lovely job delving into characters and really making them fully exposed, realistic people just trying to do a (pretty traumatizing) job.
Austenland by Shannon HaleI really enjoyed these, for the tongue-in-cheek humor as well as the subtle (and not-so) Austen references.

I need to restart this. But yes it is an intimidating series in size. An entire shelf just to them!

Wildwood by Juliet MarillierI loved the first book SO much. The second was good, but the first charmed the pants off me.
Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnisThis was a rare instance of huge difference in how I felt between book 1 and book 2.
