I will have to check that out! I listen to a lot of audiobooks but most only have straight up narration. I can't think of any LOHF off the top of my head that has the added touches but if I remember I'll be back!
All I can think of is Neil Gaiman’s THE GRAVEYARD BOOK. Obviously not a LOHF though. I’ll look through my other audios and see.
Teeth in the Mist is amazing. Audiobook wise, I highly recommend anything by Shani Struthers and The Fireman by Joe Hill

Heads up LOHF audio reviewers. Barbie Wilde has an audio title on here:https://mailchi.mp/4a933980ae0d/ameri...
I'm currently listening to Kathe Koja's SKIN on audio. There are no special effects but the narrator is doing a great job with the material. Koja has a unique style and I imagine it wasn't an easy task for the reader.
The Turn of the Screw is great in audio! I listened to the 2 hour version from scribd, and loved it.
The audiobook for The Dead House is amazing and has a lot of the same kind of production you're talking about. Same with The Trees Crept In

I just bought my fisrt audiobook : Teeth in the mist by Dawn Kurtagich which sounds very promising with music, little sounds and other details like a horror movie !
Do you have audiobooks to recommand ? Especially the ones with this kind of details, not just someone reading the book.
Thanks in advance !
