What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

All I remember is that in this book the girl is forced to search for her father because she got a speeding ticket or soemthing and she gets a job in a painting team. The boy who is also the head of the painting team is her love interest. He drives her to and from the jobs. She also catches her bf cheating on her with a girl in one of the pools of the building they are painting. They also play basketball games after the job is completed
