Diane, for my money he's the best mystery thriller writer out there. His Harry Bosch series has been made into an Amazon TV show called Bosch, which is excellent - so far there are 5 seasons. I highly recommend both the books and the show! He also writes the Lincoln Lawyer books, the first one of which was made into a movie of the same title and starred Matthew McConaughy.
