The characters are growing to be very multidimensional. I really like it now that I've seen the second season.
AnnaM, you are not the only one watching. I've watched the entire series. Although I watched all of season 2 while trying to figure out where I've seen the new mayor before. Thanks for jogging my memory! I really like the series. There is so much going on. At times I wish for less violence, but that is the only complaint.
Hi, Riley. There is a lot of violence. I'm getting into the worldbuilding. I was surprised the New York seemed to be so pretty and modern while Defiance seems to be post apocalyptic. I really liked the finale, but darn it, why so few episodes per season? I still miss Primeval. Stephen's death was so sad. His character in this is so different. I'm seeing flickers of him not being a total jerk. I like that the characters change and aren't one-dimensional.
Good to know others are watching.

There's romance but it's a little soap-opera-ish with the changing partners and betrayals. The most enduring love seems to be between Nolan and his adopted alien daughter, Irissa. I was rooting for Nolan and the ex-mayor to hit it off but since the guy from Primeval joined I've decided I don't like her much anymore.
Just wondered if I'm the only one watching.
