Sonya (thelibrarianin3b) | 93 comments Had a nice Reading Weekend these past couple of days where I didn't have any plans (for once) and just got to relax and read all day.

Finished:
-The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson. Good mystery that left me on another cliffhanger. I have to know what happened but the 3rd book doesn't come out until January!

-Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. Finally finished listening to this audiobook this weekend as well. I don't know what took me so long because I really did enjoy the book and plan on continuing the series. I love the characters individual stories.

Read:
-Opposite of Always by Justin A Reynolds. Really liked this book. It was a nice contemporary YA romance, but the time travel aspect and the character's personal struggles and relationships with his loved ones is what really drew me in.

Began:
-Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J Maas. Picking this one up (again). I'm really wanting to restart the Throne of Glass series again. I think if I start from the beginning again and keep going I'll be able to finish the series.

-Stepsister by Jennifer Donnelly. I'm in the mood for a fairytale retelling and this is a pretty unique one in that it's not focused on Cinderella but one of her stepsisters, Isabelle, instead. I've only just started but the introduction of characters such as the Fates and Chance really has me interested.

It might be a while before I get another Reading Weekend, but I really enjoyed it so I'm going to try to make more of an effort to carve out some time where I can just do nothing but read and de-stress on weekend mornings.

Last week was pretty good too, since these books are so big! I read ‘Heir of Fire’ and ‘Queen of Shadows’ by Sarah J Maas, books 3 and 4 in the Throne of Glass series. I’m halfway through book 5, so hopefully I can finish that, book 6 and the prequel!

I also need to start working on the pop sugar challenge topics again because I know I’m behind 😅
