I'm looking for opinions from romance readers. At present, my WIP introduces the POV character and some key aspects of his history and personality in the first scene (659 words long). He first sees his love interest in the second paragraph of the second scene. Would you keep reading long enough to get to that point, or do you need to see both lovers sooner than that?
