OLD KINGDOM | Hot Key Read-along discussion

Hmm, so I thought I'd managed to see a spoiler by reading the author's note but this is also mentioned in the notes and FAQs with Garth in Abhorsen. Interested to see how that affects my reading.
I hope he writes the sequel he mentions in FAQ some day.

I just finished my first read of the trilogy... Now, had this happened 11 years ago I would have been very angry (I would also have been very teenagerly) So, my questions: are the short stories Across the Wall: A Tale of the Abhorsen and Other Storiesworth reading? Should I just hold my horses until Clariel gets out?

Right. Some life stuff got in the way but I'm finally settling down to read this.
