Jayden raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything yet. "Well, okay then. Sorry for walking up the stairs slowly, as I should."
Jayden laughed. "You're awfully feisty for being so short." This has to be one of the most interesting conversations I've ever been in.
Jayden grinned. "Yes, I'm really a guard. Jayden Bass, and I'd say it was a pleasure, but...you've listened to this conversation so far." He shrugged.
"Really? So you must be new here, then? I've never heard the name Peony Shriver in this whole castle before."
Jayden laughed and shook his head. "Nah, I know the real Peony. So what's your name? Your real name?" He asked, leaning against the railing.
He grinned. "I don't. But you just admitted that you aren't her." He crossed his arms, as if mocking her.
((You have the prince, right? If so, could my selected character maybe have a run-in with him?))
Salome paused on the way up the stairs and noticed a selected girl. She was shown a picture of what her girl would look like, and she recognized her to be it. "Hello. Are you Lady Lily Belle? I believe I'm your maid."
Salome glanced at Lily Belle with a raised eyebrow when she squealed. "Nice to meet you. I'm Salome."
"You'll get used to how things are at the castle," Salome commented. "But I recommend not squealing in front of a royal. But, you'll do fine." She smiled a little. "And it's my job to help, and make you look like a princess."
Salome nodded. "That would look nice on you for a simple brunch or lunch out in the gardens. But for nicer gowns, a nice red or dark blue would look good on you."
"Of course. What king of jewelry do you prefer? Gold, silver, either? Do you like big jewelry or dainty jewelry? Also, what size shoe are you? Soon, I'll have to get your measurements for clothing."
"Okay. That's perfect. I can get your precise measurements as soon as your room is ready. Any other preferences with your clothing, or hair, or makeup?" Salome asked politely.
Salome chuckled. "You're going to wear makeup," she insisted. "You'll need it for when you're constantly being photographed and televised, because the light flashes would drown your face out. But don't worry. I'll do it all for you."
