Ok, this is the spoiler thread for speedy readers / those who've already read the book, so no need to gaurd what you giveaway plot wise in here - although if you haven't read it yet you may wish to leave.

As always it would be awesome to hear from the author.

Enjoy!

Hi JB,

finally finished. Will post review soon. I found the set up interesting in that we were looking in from an otherwold perspective. To start with I thought we would be coming on Andy's POV and following the story from there - bit more traditional 'destined' fantasy. What made you choose such an unusual perspective? Because in the end Andy isn't a main player really and we still don't know what his talent is.

J.B. Rockwell (jbrockwell) | 3 comments The POV started out that way but it just felt TOO obvious and, during the editing process, ended up as it is. Some would argue I made the wrong choice--fair enough, but I think having things primarily told from Morgan's POV vice Jamie will make more sense as Books 2 and 3 roll out (Book 2 comes this March). There's a lot going in their world and Jamie is just one part of it. Thanks for the read and the review!

I wouldn't say it was the wrong choice, just a very unusual one for a fantasy novel. Will be interesting to see where it goes in the following books :)
