Find someone to play the Doctor and then roleplay!

"Where to now, Doctor?" Clara asked cheerily, skipping into the TARDIS.

"Where do you want to go?" The doctor asked as he swung around his dashboard

"Hmmm... That planet you were talking about earlier, it was called... Feldspoon! I want to go to Feldspoon." Clara said. "You know, the one with the moving hills."

"Feldspoon! Yes!" He flipped a few controls and gave Clara a sideways smile. After a whirring noise, the TARDIS jerked to one side. The Doctor was thrown back, he quickly grabbed hold of the railings.

"Aaah!" Clara yelled, slamming into the Doctor. "Ouch, sorry," she apologized. "What the heck was that?" she said, rubbing her banged up shoulder.

"I have absolutely no idea," he said and helped Clara up. "We must have run into a disturbance in the vortex," he said

"Is this natural time vortex behavior or did something cause it?" Clara asked.

"Something caused it..." He trailed off. "This is not good.

"Whatever did it, it was powerful," Clara said, standing next to him.

"No kidding," he said. Suddenly the TARDIS's lights started blaring. "No no no!" The Doctor yelled. "The TARDIS is malfunctioning! We're stuck in whatever is outside this doors until I can figure out how to fix it!"

"Well, ask her then!" Clara suggested, motioning to the whole room. "If she can tell you what's wrong, then maybe you can fix it!"
((She's talking about the TARDIS))

"Alright..." He trailed off. After a minute of babbling, he said "no! No no no! She's malfunctioned! There's an outside force causing the temporal dimensional shift to malfunction. There's a rift in time outside." He finished and covered his face with his hands and looked up.

Clara looked at the Doctor in front of her, her heart being crushed by a fist of sadness and pity. Then she had a bright idea.
"Doctor? You said a rift in time, right? Is it like the Rift in Cardiff you were telling me about yesterday? Or is it completely different?" Clara said cautiously.

"Yes, exactly like that rift," he said eyeing her suspiciously. "Why?"

"Are there other Rifts in this universe? Or just ours? Because I think I have an idea." Clara said, turning and staring into the large digital screen above her.

"I don't know, why?" He asked

Shoot, there goes nothing. Clara thought to herself. "I think that while we were in the vortex we got pushed out by something or someone back to Earth and into the Rift and now...," she said, "Now we're falling through it until we stop."

"That's a highly probably possibility," he said

"See? I told you I had an idea." Clara told the Doctor, smiling.

He slowly walked over to the doors and opened them. He saw the time vortex and quickly closed the doors. "We're in the rift," he said quickly

"Okay. Now the question is, where will it put us? Hopefully somewhere good." Clara said.

"I doubt it," he said. There was another jolt then the TARDIS stopped moving. "We're here," he whispered

Clara stared with apprehension at the TARDIS doors and took a deep breath. "Right. Let's go." she said, steeling herself.

"Be careful," he said as he opened the doors.

"Ditto." Clara responded.

The Doctor opened the doors and stepped out. He knew exactly where they were. "New Earth?" He said confusedly. He'd been there before with out this happening.

"Woah! What is this place? It's like... like a science fiction novel!" Clara exclaimed.

"New Earth," the Doctor said grimly, he's had bad memories here.

"Doctor, are you okay?" she said.

"yes," he said quickly then put a fake smile on his face

Clara gave him a look, but it quickly faded away. "Now! Where should we go first?" she said.

"Well, we are in New New York," he said with a smile. "How about New Empire State Building?"

"Cool! I've been to the one on our Earth. Maybe it will look same!" Clara said, overly excited at the prospect.

"Maybe," The Doctor said grimly, remembering the last time he was here with Rose and Martha.

"Well, come on!" Clara said, taking his hand and tugging it, smiling.

"Alright," he smiled and went along with her.

They ran towards the tallest building in the city, obviously "... the New Empire State." Clara said, craning her neck to look at the top. "It's huge!"

"Told ya," he smiled.

"I wonder what the view is like from the top?" she wondered, fascinated by this wonder of architecture.

"You can see the entire city," he said

"Well, you can't beat that. Can we go up?" Clara asked.

"Of course! We just have to be careful of the Cat Nurse Nuns, depending on when we are," he shrugged

"Cat Nurse Nuns? Crazy cat lady just went to a whole new level!" she whispered to him as they headed towards the entrance doors.
