i just bought kingdom come and it's also really good.

Quite a few in this sort of genre. Justice, Earth X, Marvels are all excellent and worth a look.

Alan Moore -- a creator of equal or even greater caliber.

You could try Planetary from Warren Ellis and John Cassaday

V for Vendetta, The Watchmen, The Walking Dead, Judge Dredd, Akira, Batman: The Killing Joke, Alien: Omnibus... to name a few ;)

Are you asking about Batman GNs for Frank Miller GNs?

Sandman series is gorgeous

Batman: The Cult was another good one too. Also, Frank Miller's Daredevil run has been collected in graphic novel form, another great read. And then there's Wolverine by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller, and one of my personal favorites is The Punisher: Circle of Blood by Steven Grant and Mike Zeck. There really are plenty of great graphic novels out there :D

Batman:Death of the Family is good

try identity crisis.. look what zatana did to batman

I'd recommend Batman: Hush as well as Superman: Doomed. I know a lot of people don't like New 52 stuff but these are awesome

Read Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. If you liked Dark Knight Returns, you'll love Watchmen for its depth of characters and story telling. I've re read Watchmen countless times.

I personally love Batman: Year One and Batman: the Black Mirror. If you like Alex Ross' artwork, I'd suggest Batman: War on Crime, Superman: Peace on Earth, Wonder Woman: Spirit of Truth, and Shazam!: Power of Hope, all by Ross and written by Paul Dini.

Try the sequel, the Dark Knight Strikes back
