I was thinking --with the baby being precog (think in terms of the dreams that the baby was having and someone being tortured) + there is no evidence of Stanislov’s death + the effect of the drug that could imitate death --> Which leads me to believe that Stanislov may not be really dead but captured and unfortunately --is being tortured based on what the baby was seeing...

Wow, I hadn't actually even considered that option. Considering we did not get to interact very much with Stanislov, I was saddened when he and Yuri died. The more I think about it, the more I think you could be right. ARGH! I can't wait for the next book to come out so we can find out!

I agree, I also don't think Stanislov is dead and believe as well that he was captured and is being tortured. It was really sad that Yuri got killed right after being introduced and just when I was starting to like his character. I'm really hoping that if Stanislov is captured that they can get him back before too much damage is done to him.
