Personality: August always has a smile ready for anyone, feeling the need to take everyone under his wing. He is adventurous, charming and humorous. He is happiest when surrounded by friends and loved ones. He is eternally passionate, and is easily angered by those loyal to the throne, something he sees as pathetic. He is fearless in general but he does fear death, or rather, people he loves dying. Unsurprisingly given what happened to his wife a year previous.
History: August was born to a farmer's wife in the town of Aureus, and as a happy child played freely on the glowing streets of his town, younger sister in tow. The monarchy meant little to him for a very long time, for as a farmer, crops always grew and he was not affected by the tax inflation. When he was 12 years old he met Lizzie, a boyish young girl who quickly became his best friend and partner in crime. Years later, much to the distress of other girls in the town, he married his Lizzie. They were wedded for four year and she was pregnant with their second child when she was randomly sentenced to death by the king. Driven mad with loss, August gave his daughter, Luna, just two years old, to his parents to take care of, unable to do it anymore.

{Personality}
Demi is quite a bitter person, and often doesn’t let very much people in. Not even her most trusted rebellions know all there is to know. She often questions those around her, wondering if their loyalty is true. Some may describe her as heartless, but she simply thinks of it as self-preservation. Also, when she wants to be Demi can be very manipulative, often causing men to follow her blindly, at least those who are foolish enough in the royal court. Despite her cool exterior she once was a loving person, but all that’s been lost at the death of her family and the new person who’s been in power.

{History}
In her younger years Demi lived with much love and joy with her two parents. She often looked up to their love, one day wishing to find one like that for herself. At the age of eighteen she did. It was an all consuming love, one that draws you in all but to spit you back out. The man soon left to war, dying at the front lines, leaving Demi both a widow and a mother to her young son Peter. When her parents were brutally murdered, for no apparent reason there was a change in her. No longer was she able to blindly respect the rulers above her, with what they could allow to happen. She found the resistance, and she lived simply for four years, with no worries. The resistance wasn’t all so powerful, but nonetheless they were there. When news got to a knight of the kings that she was involved in this said resistance they targeted her son, and it’s safe to say it ended in blood being shed, and there was no hope for her son. The leader was also killed, leaving her in charge. In a fit of rage she burned her house down, leaving the place she’d grown up behind as she began to expand the resistance in the woods far from the palace. Still wary of the king they often move around so they shouldn’t easily be found. They are planning something though, something that will hopefully make a change in this world they’re living in.

Mezentius is an odd soul to say the very least. You could take one look at him and think him the most innocent young man you ever laid eyes on, but this is not entirely true.
He is not chivalrous in the slightest, and was not raised like those surrounding him. The morals of the high classes are the morals of the low classes, but that is not Mezentius' issue. Given he is not from Aureus, he is different to the people there in many ways. He appears to like people, though their xenophobia makes him feel very unwelcome.
Mezentius' most notable trait his ability to kill with no remorse. He does not need to know the reason, and no amount of pleading and crying will soften him. King Alexander chose Mezentius as his executioner for a reason. It is not that Mezentius is particularly evil, it's just that killing is a second nature to him. He was raised that way. They say he hears the whispers and sees the faces of his victims at night, but there is no evidence that this actually bothers him. His job as Royal Executioner gives him the justification that he needs.

History:
Mezentius was born and raised in a tribe of barbarians, such tribes common outside of civilization. Not just any tribe, but the most brutal and well-known of them all - the Canis Lupi. There, he was son of the clan leader, and would have led them himself someday if Alexander had not set an entire battalion of 10,000 men against their overall population of 8,000 in the dead of night.
The attack had not been coincidental, the new King of Aureus had wanted something back then, and he had gotten it. The boy prince of the Canis Lupi - Mezentius. Upon arrival at Aureus, he was met with the same bad reception he always got, as a stranger, a foreigner and a barbarian, but nevertheless, Alexander took him into the palace and gave him to the previous Executioner for training. Only to find out that he needed none.
Though he seemed like a sweet boy, and he most likely was, he knew many of the most intricate torture techniques that Alexander had never seen before. The old executioner went 'missing' shortly after, and Mezentius was placed in his stead. Ever since, he has played a key role in all accusations Alexander has ever made. Mezentius originally disliked the arrangement, seeing it as pointless and dishonorable killing - his clan had always killed in battle - but soon enough the jeers and the insults of the common people and the gentry started to get to him. If a monster was what they wanted, he'd give them a real monster.
If one wishes to go against King Alexander, they can feel free, but if they should lose, they would fall into the hands of his favourite executioner - a situation widely accepted as worse than death itself.

Jameson he's a force of steel. When he's upset, or trying to protect you from getting to close to him, he won't let you. Shutting down any happy feeling he ever feels for you, letting you see the cold harsh side of him. But don't get me wrong he has a heart, and when he feels like he can fully trust you, he let's you know the real him. And him, stripped down to the core, is loyal, honest, and even loving. From time to time when he and his wife would be together, he would be the guy that showered you with flowers, gifts, and make you feel cherished completely. I've always have been a hunter. Even when I was just seven years old. When I was a baby a group of demons thought it would be fun to posses my parents. They ripped each other to shreds, and I had to watch. So I became an orphan. During that time, I learned as much as I could about monsters, and when I was old enough to be on my own, and to be able to fight back, I set out into the world, killing these fowl like creatures, and sending them back to the depths of hell.
Now along the road of course there were some bumps. There was the problem of income, and stability. So I acquired the skill to blacksmith, and I'm rather good at it. I think it was because of this I met my wife. In this town where I happened to be staying, I heard of news of a witch citing. I had heard screaming in one of the houses, and rushed in. Turns out the witch had been planning on killing them, but I got there just in time. I met this girl there.
Her hair is such a fine red, and her laughter is something I just couldn't ignore. For saving them the family offered to house me, and feed me as long as I wanted. Well those things were nothing that I really wanted. I courted her, like any other gentlemen could. We fell in love and we got married.
We were safely together for about four years. Until my past ruined it. I was out on a hunt, and it took longer than expected. When I finally came home, there was blood everywhere, tables where knocked over, and note was left, and it read,

Luna is a sweet girl, who smiles a lot but laughs very little. She is wise beyond her years, yet the life at the farm has sheltered her from most of the horrors of the inner city. She loves nature, flowers, wildlife, the lot, and is always happiest when she is outdoors, running and playing.
She made friends with all the animals on the farm and so she is prone to talking to them as if they have the power to respond, but it's much better than talking to herself. She doesn't know any children her age, because the only people within walking distance are her grandparents, and so she is very lonely.
She is happiest whenever her father, August, comes to visit her. Which is not often. She loves him more than anyone in the entire world. When she comes, she is delighted, and it appears he is too. He is never happier or sadder than he is when he is with his daughter, and she can tell.

History:
Luna has very few memories of her mother, just glimpses of her face, snippets of her singing voice, because from when she was two she was given by her father to her grandparents. He had business to do, revolutions to start up, and he couldn't do that and care for his daughter at the same time. At least, that is how her grandparents see it. She doesn't hate them for it, because it's very obvious that they are just worried about their son off being some sort of vigilante in the city and leaving his daughter behind. They also know, as does she, that the most influential factor is that Luna reminds him so much of her mother, Lizzie. From her mannerisms, to her laugh, to her personality, she is like a minature version of her mother.
Her father visits her 3 times a year, on her birthday, on Christmas, and on the anniversary of her mother's death.

She used to be the ultimate girly girl. Always giggling and wearing pretty dresses. Then she married a knight in the king’s army. He taught her how to be brave and defend herself. Then one night the king sent some soldiers to her house they murdered her three sons and one of her daughters. She ran into the woods and hid. Thankfully they didn't find her but now she hates the king with all her heart. She later found out about the resistance and immediately joined. She has two daughters remaining and mourns her dead children every day. She is very self-righteous. But you don’t have to dig down far at all to see she is one of the kindest people ever. She loves with all her heart.

Echo is stubborn and inflexible when she thinks something is right or she wants it, she never gives in or yields. Her family and friends often get angry with her but she doesn't care if that's what she believes then that's all she cares about.

Echo is very artistic, always with a pencil in her hand and sketching the world around her. Most of her diaries are made of sketches, telling everything about her day in a line of a pencil.

Echo has a relatively normal life, well as normal as it can be these days. She has a large family, mother, father, three brothers, two of which are twins and then her baby sister. All of which she loves dearly
Her father owns the small butcher in town, she helps her father by going out with her oldest brother Kaidan to the woods and shooting anything she can find. It doesn't really matter what she gets anymore as meat is meat these days. If they get sold a cow or pig they can be considered lucky.
Echo is becoming fed up, she wants to try and join the resistance along with her brother Kaidan but he won't let her. He knows if something will happen to him the family can rely on Echo. He doesn't want her going as he knew if they both went and something happens to them their family wouldn't survive the winter.
So Echo just tries to help out as much as she can, spending most of her time in the forest.

Kaidan hasn't had an easy life, but everyone could say that when they try and make ends meet. He spent most of his time when he was younger with his younger sister Echo. He taught her how to use a bow and arrow, and they have hunted together ever since.
On his twenty fourth birthday he joined the resistance, he had had enough of what the New King has done to the city.
However when his sister asked if she could join, he shot her down. He realised how dangerous it was to be part of the group and he didn't want her or his family hurt.
Now that he's in the resistance he is never home and rarely ever sleeps.
