It wouldn't have been fair to have a book count for just one letter. I still don't like the way I explained the change. I suppose it's too late for me to fix it. Again.

Question...Is this always gonna be an Oldie But Goody challenge? Or will you have mixed genre and more current songs? I have found that usually I haven't heard the song and usually have no clue about it.
Mama, it's true that a lot of the songs have been older songs. I don't want to focus on a song that has questionable lyrics or suggestive themes, so I'm somewhat limited. Older songs tend to be cleaner.
Here's a run-down of the songs so far:
"RESPECT" - Aretha Franklin, 1967, soul
"Simple" - Florida Georgia Line, 2018, country pop
"LOVE" - Nat King Cole, 1965, jazz, swing, soul
"Saturday Night" - Bay City Rollers, 1975, pop rock
"Friends" - Marshmello (featuring Anne-Marie), 2018, pop
"Vacation" - Connie Francis, 1962, rock & roll
"Miss You Much" - Janet Jackson, 1989, dance pop
"Method of Modern Love" - Hall & Oates, 1984, pop, soft rock
Let's see, that's 3 from the 60's, 1 from the 70's, 2 from the 80's, and 2 from 2018.
Next month, the song of the month might be Little Mix's version of "Word Up". It was recorded in 2014. It's classified as funk or a rhythm and blues song.
