What's that about? I don't think I've heard of it before.

Doing a review of it soon. So we can discuss it if you read it =)
Okay awesome! :) I'll let you know if I do, but it could be awhile lol. I have so many books to read right now.
I am currently reading a book called [bookcover:Tommy Avenger and the House of Bones|23266952. The author says it is similar to Harry Potter. A review will come shortly =)

Reading "Gone Girl". It's really good so far...I'm about 150 pages in. Something is amiss, but I can't say exactly what, as of now...
I'm in the middle of Gone Girl now, about 280 pages...and it's definitely picked up now! Will definitely ride it out to the end...I must know what happens :)
Gahh! Gone Girl was SO... twisted...Definitely compelling. Not really "good", but definitely compelling, and twisted. And that's all I will say. Currently reading "This Song Will Save Your Life", and "Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe", by Jenny Colgan. I love English books; and this one has a bunch of yummy dessert recipes :)
Melissa- you should read Christmas at the Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan, after you've finished meet me at the cupcake cafe, it's really good!

@Emily, Ok, I will; thanks! "Christmas at the Cupcake Cafe" actually caught my eye first, but I figured if it's kind of a series, I should start from the beginning. I also want to read Colgan's "Loveliest Chocolate Shop in Paris"... but I'm currently reading "Mr. Mercedes", by Stephen King.
@Melissa I didn't actually realise that Christmas at the Cupcake cafe was the second book before I started reading it. Then after I finished it, I realised that that was the second book! I also want to read The Loveliest Chocolate Shop, it sounds quite good!
Emily, I think so too! But books about dessert or awesome food make me want dessert; so that's not really a good thing. I LOVE dessert, and I'm trying to cut back! :)I'll get around to it eventually...but right now I'm reading "The Thinking Woman's Guide to Real Magic" by Emily Barker.
It's just all right, which is disappointing, because I really like the title! I'm actually having trouble reading it. You know you're not liking a book if you AVOID reading it...
Melissa, I agree! Books about food make me hungry too! I am currently reading a book calledThe Little Coffee Shop of Kabul by Deborah Rodriguez and it is really good! I hope your book gets better!
I'm currently reading
for my english class. It's pretty good, but I'm having a hard time getting into it.

I'm also reading
for my advance Bio class. I REALLY like this book. It's really interesting and opens you up to the ethical issues in our medical system.

CabinSixGryffindorEOW wrote: "I'm reading like ten different books, but two are Insurgent and Fablehaven."Dude, Fablehaven is one of the most amazing books ever. i have read the entire 5 book series 6 times. I only wish that Brandon Mull would write the spin off series that he talked about in the fifth book.
Currently reading "Hope was Here", by Joan Bauer. It satisfies the portion of myself that enjoys road trips/traveling/characters trying new things; but it centers on a diner...the MC is a waitress - and it REALLY makes me want some good, old-fashioned diner food!
For example: "..."[the sandwich] had layers of smoked turkey, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and chopped salad greens with red wine vinagrette on a sourdough roll" (3).
Cinammon apple pancakes, deep-dish apple pie, hashbrowns...this book is chock-full of FOOD, and that's what gets me.
...but my birthday's this week, so I'm trying to be good now , in preparation for a bunch of fun, delicious food on Thursday...Ugh...it's just HARD!
First world problems. :)
Currently reading "Top Ten Clues You're Clueless" by Liz Czukas.I've wanted to read this book for many months, and so far, it hasn't disappointed!
Awesome!!!
I finished Secret Letters. It was absolutely amazing!
I am now reading Romeo and Juliet for my english class.
For fun though, I am reading

I am currently rereading the incarnations of immortality series by Piers Anthony, starting with On A Pale Horse. It is a most wonderful book series, invoking all sorts of debates about the intellectual and fanciful reality.
I'm not reading anything at the moment...but I recently read the following:Top Ten Clues You're Clueless, by Liz Czukas
Yes Please, by Amy Poehler
BossyPants, by Tina Fey (even though I thought Poehler's book was much better. Sorry, Tina Fey - I still like you!)
and also Please Ignore Vera Dietz, by AS King; but I can't count it 'cause it was a re-read. One of my very favorite books!! I've read it at least six times, by now. :)
I want to read Robin Benway's new book, ("Emmy & Oliver") but it literally came out yesterday, so I've gotta wait a few weeks till it's available at the library.
I'm now rereading the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony. It is amazing. it is by far the best book series i have ever read. His imagination and creativity is mind blowing. Not to mention the thoughts on life and reality that they invoke.
Just started "Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore", by Robin Sloan. I like it so far...it's kind of reminiscent of "The Storied Life of AJ Fikry"; but more for an older audience...
