Read to chapt 3. As always the wordsmithness is so impressive. 'Ruben was full of true things'the cant is clever as well, the mix of old and modern.
I'm thinking this isn't going to be what I expect romance wise, I do hope so

Its funny, as this is the 4th book that I've read, that while they're all different, there are some similarities.
Love. love he way he writes women, I said this before after reading I+V, but they are the kind of women that you want to read about )I hope that makes sense).
Gender is almost irrelevant, and I admire that.

The gender comment was specifically directed at Prosperity, Byron Kae - what a character. I hope that this isn't the end for them

I am enjoying Prosperity so much, I keep seeing a david bowie type when I think of Byron as well.

I ended up loving this story so much!! It felt outside my usual range, and I didn't know if I would, but by the end I really liked the characters just so much!! I want moar. :-D
