I loved this book. Hope you enjoy it too.

Martin Olesh | 16 comments I am currently reading The Optimist’s Daughter by Eudora Welty. It’s an easy read after experiencing the complex emotional roller coaster of Call Me By Your Name. But it contains shrewd observations of human nature, particularly of the rural Deep South. It’s funny, too.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Since my last post I have read Head In The Sand by Damien Boyd, Nocturnes: Five Stories of Music and Nightfall by Kazuo Ishigoru and Blackfish City by Sam J Miller. I am currently reading War with the Newts by Karel Capek and still listening to Boy Erased: A Memoir by Garrard Conley.

I love that book. More than her Vampire Chronicles, even.

message 20: by Martin (new)

Martin Olesh | 16 comments I am currently reading Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell. It’s very long and I like to read slowly. So it will take a long time to read. But I do like Victorian novels.
