A Long Story Short discussion

We CANNOT believe it is already August! This year is flying by! Let us know who is joining this month's read of Magruder's Curiosity Cabinet, why you're interested in the book, what you think of the first few chapters, your hopes for the story and characters, etc. This will still be a NO SPOILER ZONE so please no spoilers. I do definitely plan on reading this book this month! It has been on my “to read” list for a while now. I am however once again a little behind on my reading, but hopefully can start it next week. Will update! Can’t wait to see what others who have started it think!

I FINALLY got to start this book! I am on chapter 5. I really like it so far. I like how it has a feeling of mystic and magic but you can tell there are some dark themes under the surface and probably about to surface. There were a lot of characters presented pretty quickly, so until I learned names and who was a “normal” or a “freak” it got a bit confusing, but not bad. So far my favorite is Zeph.

Zeph is great!

I'm halfway through now and still like Zeph, but now I also really like Rosalind too!! I am scared for them and their safety with whats happening!! Can't put this book down!
