Victoria Dougherty writes fiction, drama, and essays that often revolve around spies, killers, curses and destinies. Her work has been published or profiled in The New York Times, USA Today, International Herald Tribune and elsewhere. Earlier in her career, while living in Prague, she co-founded Black Box Theater, translating, producing and acting in several Czech plays. Victoria loves noir, Winston Churchill, shabby chic, old family photos, fog, Byzantium and taxidermy – although not necessarily in that order. She lives with her husband and children in Charlottesville, Virginia, and loves them most of all.
I've been writing for over ten years (as a hobby) but only published in November of 2112. After publishing four fantasy titles, I wrote and published my first thriller. I love both genres, but thrillers are certainly easier to sell. At over 1000 copies in four months it seems to sell itself. But no, that's not true, it's down to the great readers that read, review and recommend. When not writing and promoting my books I work part time in a library, which is great. Prior to that I worked in high end reprographics for twenty years (very useful, as I honed the skills necessary to produce my own covers).
I'm a bit of a control freak at heart.
PS: My ambition while in this group is to get Janet to read one of my fantasy novels ;~)
Debbie Bennett writes dark and gritty thrillers. Sometimes people even pay her money to do it...She could tell you more but then she'd have to kill you afterwards.

Thanks for the opportunity! It took 20 years and 8 books to finally get a publishing contract and my first book was published by HarperCollins earlier this year. Fear for Hire is about a mistaken kidnapping. Natalie S. Ellis worked behind the scenes in TV news for sixteen years and will always miss the rush of a breaking story. But the seduction of writing a fiery romance with twisty suspense is even harder to resist, especially when she has a new curve-ball for the plot. Natalie enjoys living in her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and attributes her cheerful attitude to empty nesting, a supportive family, and way too many lattés. www.fearforhire.com
Seems a bit odd writing about ourselves in third person, so I'm just going to say I'm Ava Marsh, and I write psychological thrillers with adult themes. My first, Untouchable, is out next March in the UK and the US, and is about an escort with a dark secret who stumbles into an even darker conspiracy.

Ha ha, Debbie! We'll just have to read them to find out more.

Hi everyone, I'm Aimee and I'm the author of the epic fantasy series 'Eva's Ascension'. When I am not buried knee deep in books you will usually find me running around after a particularly beautiful (and ridiculously loud) 8 month old or arguing with my ten year old son (I never win)Apart from that I do occasional administrative work and freelance as a graphic artist.
I would have put this in third person to sound more professional but it made me break out into fits of giggles when I tried... :/
Hi!I write Romantic Suspense/Thrillers! I read anything that toys with my mind. I love a good Mind F**k!
Hi folks - I'm Evan Ronan and I write thrillers. By the end of this month, the first three books in my paranormal series, The Unearthed, will be out.
Ash was born on Christmas Day 1974. So started a life of "Merry Christmas...And oh! Happy Birthday too." Before you say, "Aw Shame" and break out the tissues, please know that Ash is a Christmas Diva! There are always two presents ...or else! Reading and writing was a big part of Ash's life growing up. Being a typical rebel, rather than joining the cut-throat corporate world after graduating, Ash became a vegetarian hippie instead and went into the gardening/ nursery business. The irony of a vegetarian "plant lover" is still lost this award winning Horticulturist to this day.
Ash traded comfortable hemp attire for corporate cotton later on and became the Purchasing Manager for McDonald's Asia, Pacific, Middle East and Africa region. These days neither the high flying corporate Exec or the vegetarian hippie exists, but rather the family orientated book lover with not so much spare time to read anymore.
Here I am as requested introducing myself. I used to write vocational publications for Longman Scientific and Technical. Now I'm retired I'm trying my hand at writing thrillers, I've written two so far. I write for fun as payment appears to be out of the question.

Hello everyone!I have been writing for years, but have only recently been published. My first novel is a short Mystery/suspense novel, and my second is due out in January.

Hi Sean,
I've notice in reading some of the posts and comments that there is a specific site available for authors to post info about their own books. Can you direct me to that site? I can't seem to find it. Thanks, Peter

This is the first installment in the Rhyne Heart Thriller Series, and is slotted for release in December 2014.
