Women's Classic Literature Enthusiasts discussion

We are now taking nominations for the November read. You can nominate up to two books written by women. Please indicate if you are willing to lead the discussion if your selection wins.

We will take nominations up to and including September 30. We will then vote from October 1-7.

To Kill a Mockingbird is certainly okay. The Color Purple was published in 1982.

I've been wanting to read Sarah Orne Jewett for awhile, good choice. so A Country Doctor has my vote.

We will be voting on our choices beginning on October 1.

I nominate Daniel Deronda and I can lead the discussion if it wins.

Daniel Deronda Looks interesting, but I could not read it in only 4 weeks. It has 700+ pages.

If Daniel Deronda wins we can extend the discussion into the next month for a more reasonable reading plan.

I've read a couple of her short stories, loved them. :)

Someone nominated To Kill a Mockingbird, but I don't see it any more. I will renominate it and also Frankenstein.
