We are now taking nominations for the November read. You can nominate up to two books written by women. Please indicate if you are willing to lead the discussion if your selection wins.

We will take nominations up to and including September 30. We will then vote from October 1-7.

To Kill a Mockingbird is certainly okay. The Color Purple was published in 1982.

I nominate Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte and A Country Doctor by Sarah Orne Jewett.
I am willing to lead the discussion if one of them wins.

I've been wanting to read Sarah Orne Jewett for awhile, good choice. so A Country Doctor has my vote.

Alexa (AlexaNC) | 435 comments I nominate Daniel Deronda and I can lead the discussion if it wins.

Andrea AKA Catsos Person (catsosperson) | 315 comments Daniel Deronda Looks interesting, but I could not read it in only 4 weeks. It has 700+ pages.

If Daniel Deronda wins we can extend the discussion into the next month for a more reasonable reading plan.

Someone nominated To Kill a Mockingbird, but I don't see it any more. I will renominate it and also Frankenstein.
