Hammond Innes did live for most of his life in Suffolk

I am struggling to find this book on my kindle. Is anyone else having any success?

I went for one of the used - good condition ones. It's the Heron Books Collection distribution in brilliant condition. Think I got lucky with it, but there's plenty of other copies on there for ~£6 with P&P or ~£3 if you're happy with a soft cover version. I figured if I couldn't get it on Kindle, I might as well make it a nice piece for the bookshelf :)

Bought a copy from eBay. Terrible state so they sent me another one slightly better but still smells but at least I got a copy.

This is a man's book but loving now I've got into it. Wish the chapters were smaller or had sub-chapters in them though.

Smaller chapters would have been great if not sub-chapters. Hard work finding places to pause your reading but a great story.

Finally found this in suffolk library, really enjoying it, a good straightforward adventure book

I struggled with it at first, but really enjoyed it as I got into it.

Finished this in 2 days, great boys own type adventure.
