Historical Non-Fiction discussion

Soon I will break down the Discussion Topics into categories ... such as American/Canadian History, Discoveries and Explorations, Prates, etc.

Of course, if you really want to get involved, please do so and suggestions are welcome.

I doubt anyone else shares my interest in historical wood & metal work or farming, but I'll put it out here, just in case.

Hi Mark...I know you are out of town at the moment but I thought I'd make my suggestions before I forget them....=))....

1. Maybe a chat room so we can all talk about the off topic subjects that are bound to come up?
2. A separate History thread for each country....like Mexico, Egypt, etc. as we come across books about them? I know I am more interested in some countries than others, and I think it might be easier to find and discuss the books that way.
3. I have been seeing a lot of WWI books on Gutenberg....could there be a WWI thread? WWII? Korea? etc? Same reasoning as the History.

I feel like I'm forgetting one so I'll quit. Can't wait to see what plans you have!

I remembered the other suggestion....maybe members could create their own book list thread to track the books they read that fit into this group's theme?

Really quitting now....=))
