Name: Scarlett Grey

Appearance:
History: Scarlett is a college student she's an English major. Scarlett lost her mom and dad when she was only nine years old she was raised by her Uncle. Scarlett lost her uncle when she was sixteen years old. Scarlett took a job at the local bakery she knows how to bake cakes and decorate them for weddings and birthdays. She worked there until she was eighteen years old. Scarlett has always been in love with writing. She got a job with the local newspaper writing articles and stories. Scarlett tends to act like a detective since her specialty in writing is talking about local crimes. That is mainly her day job and the rest of her writing is related to novels that she is writing. Scarlett lives a simple life she lives in a cabin in the woods she drives to work every day and does the same routine. Scarlett hasn't found love before it's been a while since she has dated someone. Scarlett tends to seem quiet and submissive during some things but she can be feisty and protective. Since love is something that Scarlett hasn't felt it will take time for her to find it. She can be extremely stubborn at times she doesn't want anyone she loves getting hurt. Scarlett seemed to believe in the rumors about supernatural things living in the town.

History: Ren is a young prince he lost his mother and father they died when he was only five years old. His Aunt and Uncle took him in as they continued to rule his kingdom. Ren has been raised to treat others with kindness and love regardless of who they are and what they want. Ren doesn't seem to want to rule his older cousin will take over as king after his uncle. Ren doesn't mind that he has been friends with lower-class friends. Ren has a great knowledge of all things from Literature to Science and Math. He likes seeing a woman stand up to what she wants that shows greatness to a new generation which is what he likes a lot.

Would my character have to be that detailed? Lol

Okay, how should we start?

Hmm for the werewolf one should my girl just walk in on the pack while investigating something else?

With the maid one should it be the king and queen are gone and the prince is studying he could notice the maid?

Hmm... i’m not sure. I feel like we could do something better. Maybe your character is found almost dead and so she recovers with the wolf pack?

Scarlett Grey was walking towards her cabin it was late probably close to midnight she got off her work and was heading home. It has been difficult the past few days she had to turn in a few publications late which meant she would be paid late. Scarlett paused at the door when she thought she heard something she turned around and shook her head. She turned to unlock the door but she realized it was open. "What the hell?" Scarlett opened the door and turned on the lights. What she didn't see was a person behind her they attacked Scarlett from behind. She screamed and fought but they were stronger than her. Scarlett continued fighting them as she hit them and tried to fight them. The person hit her heard in the head knocking her out. Even while she was asleep Scarlett could feel the assault happening to her. When they were done she felt them drag her out into the woods before she felt something slamming against her body multiple times. She couldn't tell if it was a knife or a crowbar. Even when Scarlett woke up she couldn't even move she was hidden under the leaves naked and hurt. Her eyes closed again when she thought this was it she would die and she had no idea who the killer was.

"Ren I want you to focus on this marriage you need to be ready for it." His uncle said to him as Ren sat in the library reading while he was studying. "I really dont' want to do this why does the marriage matter I won't be ruling." He said to his uncle. "You shouldn't have to live alone," His uncle said to him. Ren sighed. The uncle nodded he left to go and get some work down for the kingdom. Ren looked down as he thought of how to stop this marriage. He got up and went to his room where he knew his maid was going to be working on cleaning his room and doing his sheets. "Excuse me, Jude, do you mind if we talk?" He asked her. He knew this was an insane idea but if she could pretend to be with him then he would be free form this marriage. His aunt and uncle didn't care about who he was with regardless of status as long as he wasn't alone. "You can continue working I just wanted to run something by you if you are comfortable with it?" He asked her. Mentally he really hoped she would say yes even though he had a feeling she would say no as long as he didn't cross boundaries and force her then that's all that matters. He didn't want to hurt her in any way shape or form.

Kiran was at his pub, watching people come and go as his right hand droned on about problems in the pack, sometimes within it, sometimes with another pack. Either way, he was bored and needed him, Marcus, to shut up. He lifted a hand, silencing the other man. “I’ll see what I do. Now, may I enjoy my drink before I’m forced by to my duties tomorrow? While he loved what he did, it did often get too much.” He finished his drink and stayed for a while longer before stood up to go for a silent walk, brooding. He walked all the way out of civilization until his legs took him to the woods right outside. His body knew what he needed better than he did. He smiled and walked into the woods. Something was different but he wasn’t sure what. Looking around, there wasn’t a soul. Kiran leaned down and shifted into his wolf form before he started running with the wind, the cold air beating at his fur. He felt so free... until he smelt blood. He slowed to a stop and could’ve sworn he saw someone run off but as he jumped over a fallen tree to follow, they were gone, yet the smell of blood remained. He followed the scent until he found a girl. He sniffed her. Alive. He shifted back to his human self quickly, worried she would wake up and see him. As much as he wanted to just leave her there, something wouldn’t let him. It kept telling him to stay. To take her. To take care of her. To protect her. That was how he found himself shrugged off his jacket, wrapping it around her and picking her up before carrying her off with him.

Jude was going about her usual duties. She’d finished cleaning after the royalty at breakfast, she’d cleaned her designated hall, she’d cleaned the rooms she had to and was now in the Prince’s room. She was just about done when he walked in. She went into the toilet, grabbing his laundry basket as she started to leave, which was when Prince Ren addressed her. She tensed. She was supposed to be silent, quick and unnoticeable. The fact that he’d noticed her might cause her trouble. She hoped he wouldn’t scold her or tell on her. She couldn’t lose a weekend to work. She turned to the Prince, setting the laundry basket with her head bowed so that she wouldn’t make eye contact. “Yes, your highness, of course,” she said, an apology already on her lips to tell him she didn’t mean to, that it—whatever it was—wasn’t her fault. The other thing she was worried about all of a sudden.... no, no. He was nothing like his father, she didn’t have to worry about him. If he was, he would’ve taken notice of her long before.

Scarlett was struggling to move or to even stay awake she felt like something came near her but she wasn't sure what it was or who it was. Nor did she care she felt like she was going to die soon and she accepted that. Even though she felt like she was too young to die then again everyone though at any age is too young to die. Scarlett felt like this was too brutal of death if she died she wanted to die in her sleep a peaceful sleep. Even when she felt her body being picked up she felt too weak to even notice. All she felt was extreme pain and her breathing lessening as time went on. Scarlett slept for several more hours until she felt her strength slowly come back for her to open her eyes and see she was somewhere that was unfamiliar. Maybe she was hallucinating? That's possibly what it was? Then again she wasn't so sure if it was a hallucination then why does it feel so real?

"Please Jude it's alright you did nothing wrong," Ren assured her. Ren could tell she was terrified and he understood why so many would be punished if they even looked at the royals in the wrong way. Ren wasn't like that he didn't see the point when they were all human beings. "There's no need to be afraid." He assured her as he looked at her. "I wanted to ask you something," he said to her. "I am being asked to marry a princess but I feel like I don't want to marry her because I'm not in love with her. The King and Queen don't mind who I marry as long as I'm not alone." He said to her. "They can be very poor or even very rich." He said to her. "Since I won't be king for a long time the status doesn't matter." He sighed. "This may seem confusing as to why I'm telling you this. But Jude," He sighed. "I wanted to know if you would like to pretend to be in a relationship with me?" he asked her. "I know it seems insane but this is the only way to avoid marriage for me to be in some kind of relationship at least will keep me from having to marry." He said to her. "There is no one else I can ask," He explained. "Please, Jude if you are comfortable please do this for me? I will provide you with anything that you need, money, food, clothing, and more if you can do this for me? Just think of it as a second job?" He said to her. "You dont' have to think about it right now but please consider it and let me know hwen you can," Ren said to her. "You can go back to work now." He said to her. "Thank you Jude," He said to her.

Kiran took the girl back to the complex he owned, since he didn’t really know where she lived. He put her in his house in a guest room, temporarily, until she woke up and could leave. That seemed like it might be a while, considering how terribly she’d been handled. He’d put her in the bed and tucked her in before he left, though he wasn’t sure why he’d taken so much care with her. All he did before he left was call a doctor from nearby to come get look at her. He didn’t want to leave but he had other things to deal with. He left someone outside her door to guard it. They usually did that for guests they were worried would be dangerous but he knew that wasn’t the case this time.

Jude froze and then relaxed at his words. She nodded, giving a weak smile. She still kept her eyes lowered to the floor as she listened to him. Her brows furrowed and because of her shock, she accidentally lifted her eyes to meet his. She blinked at him, her mouth hanging slightly open. “I...what?” She asked, forgetting her manners. Even as he explained, she could still barely register it. “What?” She repeated, brows furrowed. Was it a mean joke he and his father were pulling on her? To make a fool of her? She knew how much his father liked go embarrass his women, make them feel small and weak before he... she shook the thought from her head as she closed her mouth and nodded. Her knees shook like they were about to give out and they felt like they would, both because of fear and because of utter shock at his preposition. “Why me?” She asked without thinking.

The Doctor walked in to examine Scarlett she was in bad shape. He made a note of all of her injuries and made notes of them before he went to Kiran. He left a nurse to clean up Scarlett and change her into some comfortable clothing. “It will take time for her to heal.” He explained to Kiran. “She was sexually assaulted, the attacker beat her with what looked like a knife and a crow bar. I can’t tell if he was a werewolf or a human. There were mixed scents on her. I could smell your scent, hers, and then something else.” He said to him. “If you want we can move her to the medical cabin she can still be watched by a guard.” He said to him. “Also I looked her up, her name is Scarlett Grey, she works for the local newspaper she’s the one that writes about the local crimes,” He said to him. “I don’t think she would be someone to force to stay quiet about the pack but she may have to be warned when she wakes up.” He said to him. The nurse came out and left with the doctor. Scarlett whimpered softly as she woke up not long after. She opened her eyes she felt so exhausted she wasn’t even sure where she was. She looked around slowly the place she was in was nicer then where she lived. But it was too nice to be a hospital was she in a guest room? Scarlett looked down at the clothes she was wearing someone put clothes on her.

Ren noticed how shocked she was. “This isn’t a joke it won’t be a practical joke.” He said to her. “I need you to please to pretend to be my girlfriend,” He asked her. “In all honestly I can trust you, I don’t believe you would back stab me and I see how amazing you are.” He said to her. “I would never do anything you put you in harms way or embarrass you.” He said to her. “I will let you get back to work so you don’t get into any trouble.” He said to her. “Just let me know what you think,” He said to her.

Kiran grimaced at all the details, but mostly because they made him want to hurt someone the way she’d been hurt. “No, leave her here. If she goes to the ward, she probably wont be able to sleep with all the snoring. She doesn’t know where she is, we have to keep her comfortable... for now,” he explained. When the Medic left, Kiran stayed in the room for a little while longer, watching the girl. Then he left, calling in the wolf who was the most sensitive to smell, Enzo. “Track the third scent. Find out everything you can. Nothing more. Report back to me every night,” he told Enzo. The man gave a nod and was off. Kiran left after that, to let her rest, even though he inexplicably wanted to stay there and guard her from anymore harm. He could barely understand it.

Jade frowned deeply at that. “Alright, your highness,” she said and then after a moment, she left. She had so much to think about. What about her job? They’d fire her if she didn’t show up and if anyone important saw her working a maid’s job, they’d probably be able to tell that it was all a lie. And what if they were found out? Would the King and Queen kill her? Would the Prince himself kill her if he were found out because of her? She wondered if she should just decline in the offer.

When Scarlett finally gathered enough strength for her to wake up. She sat up slowly in the bed she laid in. She looked around as she touched her head she groaned at the pain. She looked out the window and slowly got up slowly. She felt too fragile to walk but she forced herself to stand up and walk. At first, she felt panicked but she walked out of the room as she looked around. She saw a man who was just coming into the house. "Where am I? Who are you? What happened?" She asked Kiran as she gripped the wall she tried to stay standing but she was struggling.

He nodded his head. He would get her a transfer job in the castle if she wanted too. She could work only at certain times during the day so that they could put on the act. He wouldn't allow her to be fired.

The prince had his plans and he wanted to make sure Jade was comfortable with them. He wasn't afraid to try this he just hoped that she would be okay with it. He would ensure her safety and provide the money that she needs.
