Lizziefaye's Comfy Corner discussion

Hi everyone,
I hope you saw my video announcing that I will be continuing the Audible Escape Category Challenge that Sarah from Steeped in Books started on her Goodreads Group.
For August I picked the categories of Magic and Galactic. Neither of these are in my comfort zone. However I did manage to pick a book in each category and plan to give them a go.
For Galactic I chose Captured by Julia Barrett. On the Audible steaminess scale it's labeled "Flirty." However, when I looked it up on Goodreads, it's described as Erotic. So I don't know what I'm getting into. LOL!

For Magic I chose Mermaid Inc. by Caroline Mickelson and when I looked it up on Goodreads, it says it's book 2 in a series. So I went back and found that book 1 of the series called Maid for Love is also in the Magic category. Both are short books, so I may go ahead and listen to them both.

Oh my goodness! I do NOT recommend Captured by Julia Barrett. For one thing it is mislabeled. It is most definitely not "flirty" on the steaminess scale, but contains some very graphic sex scenes.
I could have put up with that, but the foul language was just disgusting!!
The premise of women being abducted to another planet sounded interesting and I would have enjoyed it if it had been cleaner.
