Guy Vestal - Counter Culture Critic (DaddyRose) The Title? The Cover? The Synopsis? The Reviews?

Justin (justinbienvenue) Cover definitely as it is the first thing that has to catch my eye. Then if it has succeeded at that then I will pick it up and read the back synopsis and inside spine. Sometimes if I see a book online I will at times take a peek at the reviews as well and usually that will attract me to a book.

Leigh Stuart | 13 comments It has to have a good blurb or teaser--I figure if the author can't make it sound interesting, then it most likely won't be. That said, sometimes the blurb is the most interesting thing about a book. You know, when they suck you in with a good hook, but then the whole thing just falls flat....
