I read the first 25% of this, and I think I'm going to abandon it... there's just too many characters and not a lot going on... seems more like an anthology/idea to just bring together as many famous historical fictional/non-fictional characters as possible, because vampirism means they can all live at the same time...

Dracula, Queen Victoria, Van Helsing, Jack the Ripper, Sherlock Holmes, etc etc etc......
