Hello, please no horror, paranormal or first person narrative for my book.
I have only read really light suspense books along with my preferred of contemporary romance, historical romance, Amish romance, and some regency romance that has been put out by Love Inspired. I don't usually read anything historical that is after WWI to around 2000.

Well Jessie you are not suppose to for this is to suggest a book that the person would not other wise normally read. But we have a problem for the most part the three of us all read the same thing. So how about this guys if we pick a book that we really loved that the person we are to pick for hasn't read yet and not on their TBR list? What do you think?
I have read all the left behind series. it had been years though.
Janine How about a religious fiction book For Such A Time ad This by Ginny Aiken. I liked it and gave it 5 stars.
Ok Darlene, this is not a romance, but it is fiction, that I really enjoyed. It is The Doctor's Christmas Quilt by Kathi Macias. If you are not reading Christmas yet then let me know and I will pick something else.
Jessie is this the book you were talking about

Here is a way try to something new in reading that hopefully will be fun.
Here is how it works, which is a lot like Pick It For Me, you sign up by September 30th and then the person above you will pick a genre for you. When you sign up please state what you absolutely won't read: i.e. horror, paranormal, ect; also please state what you generally read: historical, contemporary, Amish, ect.
The books will remain Christian, Inspirational or Clean since that is what the group is all about.
For the person picking the new book, please try to recommend a book that you have personally read and enjoyed for this is a way to expose people to something different and really we don't want to turn people off completely of a new type of book. If the person you are picking for reads what you do and don't know of another type of book, then you may ask for recommendations from the group, and then you can choose from those.
For those reading the new type of book, you are asked to read either the first 25% of the book or first 5 chapters, which ever comes first, before putting the book down. We don't want to force anyone to read something they really dislike, but just to try something new.
I hope there are some willing to try this with me. I will post my sign up post after this.
After reading the book please let the rest of us know what you thought about the book. If you didn't like the book please don't bad mouth the book for someone picked it for you. If you didn't like it just explain that it wasn't for you. If there is a reason that you can pin point that you didn't like the book then state that but remember it is a personal preference.
