I finished this yesterday and the battle at the end of this one was so well done! It blew my mind! Easily my favourite part of this book. That and the fact that Perrin and Loial are back in the story. I was beginning to think that they were forgotten.
Perrin meeting Faile’s parents was pretty funny.

This book is definitely amazing. Rand did it right at the end. The Aes Sedai deserved that. Alanna bonded him without asking him. That moment almost stopped me from finishing the book. I was so angry about what she did. It felt way TOO VIOLATED with the way Robert described Rand's feelings. Even I felt violated reading that. Then, all of them talked about how they would've done the same to Rand if Alanna didn't bond with him first. Never again trusting Aes Sedais. I hate them more and more after every book. Only Moiraine is good, the rest is so arrogant and disrespectful. When Rand was tortured in front of Min and Min him, it sickened me to my stomach. These people will never be forgiven in my eyes. Egwene and Elayne becomes way too entitled. What made Elayne thought she could have Mat's medallion? He almost died for that. It doesn't belong to Aes Sedai anymore. They also disrespected him when they knew about him being a General because of what? He was a mischievous boy in the Two Rivers? Guess what, girls! People change with time. If you girls can change, so can Mat. Best example is Rand. He's hardened and tenacious unlike the first book. Also, Perin, Lan and Loial are back. Let's go! Mat will marry the Empress from the Seanchan? Hmm, interesting development. I actually like Nynaeve a bit more and I love Min, but Elayne is *eye-rolled*.... Can't wait to see how Rand will deal with the Salidar's Aes Sedais and Elaida's Aes Sedais now. Mazrim Taim is very very interesting. He's just so weird. Who actually rescued him? How did he know so much? How could he even survive for more than 15 years without going mad? This guy definitely might be a forsaken based on Lews Therin's reactions to him everytime Rand saw him. Demandred is Taim?? Logain might be one of Rand's most trusted followers soon based on this book. He just looks like someone who will support Rand no matter what.
