This is an independently owned coffee ship in the Middle City Slums. The walls are made of pine wood, and the floor is a slightly more solid wood. The entire shop is about 10-feet by 10 feet with all the equipment shoved up against the back wall. There are five tables people can sit at with two chairs each.

Roleplay!

Twenty or so minutes later, Gavin walked into the Coffee Break with Cally. He ordered a drink for himself and then let Cally order hers.

Lily | 1055 comments Cally ordered, and watched as the waitress walked away.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin led them over to the only free table.

message 5: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally sat down. "I've never been here before."

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

"Me neither," Gavin admitted.

message 7: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally smiled at him. "Well, first time for everything.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yep," Gavin agreed.

message 9: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally looked around. "Seems busy."

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

"I suppose so, but apparently the Hear of the City is always a lot busier," Gavin said.

message 11: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally shrugged. "I don't go over there much."

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

"Neither do I," Gavin admitted.

message 13: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally nodded and watched the other people drink their coffee.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

"How did you get into baking?" he asked, also glancing around the shop.

message 15: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally shrugged. "I helped my mom around the kitchen growing up, and I guess I was just good. I enjoyed it a lot too."

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

"Cool," he said, smiling.

message 17: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "I guess," Cally said.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin's smile faded after a couple minutes of silence.

message 19: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments A waitress came over with their drinks. Cally thanked her quietly.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin nodded his agreement and took a sip of his drink.

message 21: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally sipped her coffee. "What about you? Like, what are your hobbies?"

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

"Writing, singing, guitar, and I now feel like a hippy," he said, smirking at his own joke.

message 23: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally laughed. "So? Who says hippies aren't fun?"

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

"Are you calling me fun?" he asked.

message 25: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "I never said that," Cally said. "I said hippies in general are fun."

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

"You so did," Gavin argued, grinning in triumph Some would say he was flirting, but it was just his usual attitude. He didn't like girls, so it was not truly flirting.

message 27: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally shrugged. "Have it your way."

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin smirked. "So, what about you? What do you like to do?"

message 29: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "Cook," Cally said. "It's pretty much my life."

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

He nodded.

message 31: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally smiled. "In fact, I sorta don't do anything else."

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

"It's good you love your work," Gavin replied. He didn't notice the person at another table watching them. "Because I don't like mine so much."

message 33: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "Oh?" Cally asked.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah," he agreed. The other person's eyes narrowed.

message 35: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally shrugged. "Sucks for you, I guess."

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah," he agreed.

message 37: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally glanced around. "I don't really like this place. Too crowded."

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

"Want to leave?" he suggested.

message 39: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments "Yeah," Cally said, standing up.

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

"So, where to? Or are you planning to go home for the night, at which point I'd have to go to my own place?" Gavin asked.

message 41: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments Cally glanced at her watch. "Not right now, anyways. We could just walk around."

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

"Okay," Gavin agreed.

((So the streets then?))

message 43: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((Yeah,))

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

((Who posts first?))

message 45: by Lily (new)

Lily | 1055 comments ((I can.))

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

((Okay))

Queen of The Moon Emilia walked into the coffee shop and smiled. She didn't usually come into the slums, but when she did she always stopped at this small place and got a drink. She sat at one of the tables and sighed, work lately had been pretty slow, and she didn't like that.

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin walked in. He had liked his coffee from the day before, so he had decided to get another.

Queen of The Moon Emi noticed the guy who walked in and watched him with interest as she sipped her coffee. He looked like any other normal person, but then again you never did know who really was a council spy or a resistance spy now days.

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

Gavin didn't see a free table, so once he got his drink, he sat down at Emi's. "Hi," he said, smiling.
