- 23 years old -
~ 5’3” ~
Janne grew up admiring her father’s footsteps under the Godfather’s reign. She began working for the family name in her late teenage years as a Spy and now a Consort. She used her deceptive talents to trick, deceive, distract, and to make crucial financial statements for the family she worked under.
~~ Janne crossed her legs as she sat in the corner of the High Office. The Anderson Family was deciding who was next to serve as Godfather now that the head of the family had died. Her hair pulled back in a tight ponytail, she leaned back and watched the men discussing the fate.
London stood in the middle of the room, his eyes shifting back and forth over the head members of his father people. They were talking quietly among themselves. Every so often glancing back to him. He stood straight, his hands behind his back. Keeping his face as straight as he was taught. Waiting patiently for the decision.
Her eyes gazed over the man in the middle of the room, the corner of her lips twitching up slightly. With a clear of the throat all eyes directed towards the Concierge. “A decision has been made.” his low voice hummed. “The Godfather will go to the oldest son of the Anderson Family. London.” Janne uncrossed her legs and leaned forward, quietly pursing her lips. She was the only woman to work in any of the five powerful families, much less the only one with real power in them.
London stood a bit straighter as he heard him clear his throat. Ready for whatever they had decided. He nodded ever so slightly, when they confirmed it would be him. He managed to keep his excitement to a minimum.
"I will do everything I can to live up to my fathers expectations." He said, though he knew he definitely had some big shoes to fill. He would make sure not to let his father down.

After the room was cleared Janne emerged from her chair. “A drink...Godfather ?” she hummed, getting up to pour herself a drink from the drybar. “I’ve got some news you’d might like to hear.” The woman had been off lurking around another family to find vital information about their rivals whereabouts.
He watched as the room was emptied. Save for Janne, who stayed behind. The daughter of the allied Giovanni family. He smiled ever so slightly and walked over to the bar beside her. He was going to have to get use to being called that.
"What news?" He asked her, pouring himself a drink as well.
"What news?" He asked her, pouring himself a drink as well.
“The Richards family, they’re aware of your father’s passing and send their sympathies... but they recognize this as a weakening point in the family. I would watch out with your missions. Theyre watching outside our gates.” She hummed, taking a drink and leaning against the table. Janne looked her new leader in the eyes. “I wouldn’t trust their attempts for alliances either.”
London nodded his head thoughtfully as he listened to her report. He took a sip of his glass taking in a deep breath.
"My father never really trusted them in the first place." He said quietly. "I'll make sure to keep our guard up. "I wont let them use my fathers death to there advantage."

“Is there anywhere you’d like me to go?” She raised an eyebrow, walking over to the big desk and sitting on the corner slightly. Janne watched him. She had always been fairly infatuated with the man, but had never showed. “Father said New York has gotten dangerous and wished me to stay around. I may as well work while i’m here.”
He took another drink from his glass, lowering it as he heard her. If she was going to be here, then he might as well use her skills. He had always though she was impressive in her work. He thought for a moment.
"For now I'd say keep an eye on the Richards for me." He said. "I need to know if they're going to make a move or not." He looked over to desk, and took in a deep breath. It still seemed like his father should be sitting there, but it was his now.

Janne pursed her lips. “When do I start?” the whiskey felt dry against her mouth. She’d have to be careful around the Richards family as soon as they found out about him being the new Godfather. After hearing her assignment, she nodded curtly and set the empty glass beside her on the desk. “The Giovanni family sends their sympathies your way, London.” She knew she shouldn’t use his name now, but sending condolences was not the time for the use of the Godfather.
He looked up from the desk over to her, nodding his head slightly. He had been hearing that for weeks now. From people he didn't know even. But hearing it from her, somehow he felt she actually meant it. He was glad she had called him by his name. He wasn't sure he had earned the title of Godfather yet.
"Thank you, Janne." He said. "I appreciate that....."
"Thank you, Janne." He said. "I appreciate that....."
She returned to her standing position and stalked over to him, holding out her hand to kiss the ring she knew he had acquired only some moments ago when he had earned his new title. “You will be an honorable Godfather.” Janne said awaiting London’s hand.
He watched as she came over to him, and put her hand out to him. He looked at it for a second, before he put his hand out for her. That would take more getting use to. But he knew there was no use dwelling on it. It was his job now, his title. His ring. People depended on his now, and he was not going to let any of them down.
Her eyes never left his as she pressed her lips to the large ring. Janne held onto his hand a moment after she pulled away. “Get some rest.” she cleared her throat and started to the door. “You have a busy day in the morning. I’ll be back then.”
He blinked as they kept eye contact the entire time she kissed it. Pulling his hand back to his side as she pulled away. A strange feeling coming over him for a moment. He shook it away, his eyes following her as she went to the door.
"I'll try." He said quietly. "Goodnight, Janne....."
"I'll try." He said quietly. "Goodnight, Janne....."
“Goodnight, Godfather.” she murmured as she slipped out of the door. The only noise in the large house at this hour was her heels clicking on the old woodwork that built the stairways and halls. Jane woke up the next morning and showered. Dressing in a tight red cocktail dress with black platforms and her makeup done. Though her hair was pulled back as usual. She crossed her legs and sipped her coffee as she sat in the big office.
London stayed in the office for a little while. Staring out the window, and finally working up the courage to sit down in the big chair. His hands running across the top of the desk.
"I'll make you proud father....." He said quietly to himself. He left the office after a bit longer, and went to his room. It took a bit before he finally managed to drift off to sleep.
He woke up the next day, blinking his eyes open. The previous days events came rushing back to him. He took in a deep breath and slid out of bed and started to get ready for the day.

Janne looked up as she felt a presence outside the door and pushed herself to stand. She set her coffee aside and went to grab the pot to fill her mug again as she checked her watch. 7:31
London took in a silent breath. Straightening his tie as he came to the door of his office. Time to get to work. He rolled his shoulders slightly as he pushed the doors open and walked inside. He looked over seeing Janne already waiting.
“You’re late.” She hummed in a bemused tone. Surely she meant no disrespect. Janne presses her lips to the rim of her mug and took a seat on the corner of the desk. “The Bruchetti family has requested you for a meeting at seven tonight by the pier. Shall I accompany you? It’s rather my life than yours.” Janne looked at London and raised an eyebrow.
He was late? He lifted an eyebrow, looking over to the clock. It wasn't as though he slept in or anything. He shook that away, it didn't matter. Walking over to the desk, as she spoke. Of course they wanted a meeting, right after finding out who the new Godfather was. She wanted to accompany him? He didn't her risking herself for him was a good idea. But maybe having her a long would be helpful.
"We'll have Cole come as well." He said to her.
"We'll have Cole come as well." He said to her.
She sipped her coffee. “I made coffee.” she nodded to the drybar. “I’d grab some quick before i drink it all” Janne admitted softly. She looked at London and raised an eyebrow.
“This is your presentation to the world, Godfather. Let that sink in a moment.” She reminded him. “This family has more press invested than both our families together. This will be published.” Janne sipped oh her coffee some more. “How do you wish to be viewed?”
"You go ahead." He said, looking out the window. His hand in his pocket, fingering the ring on his finger. It looked a lot lighter when his father wore it. But it felt heavy on his hand. He pressed his lips together, before he turned around and came over to the desk sitting down in the chair. "Anything before the meeting tonight?"
Janne shook her head. “Nothing scheduled, though people may show up to see you.” She set her mug aside. “You can sit, I don’t bite very hard.” Her voice was light and teasing, but soon changed back to her typical self. “I would expect at least a handful of your father’s men to show up, a few more to pledge to you.”
((It's fine.))
A ghost of a smile came to his face as he heard her teasing tone. Though it left just as quickly as it came. His fathers men. They all had been fiercely loyal to his father. Them pledging to him would make this all finally feel real. But he still kept his face straight. He folded his hands on the desk, and nodded his head slightly.

“Do you need anything?” she hummed and hopped to keep things on a good note. Janne ticker a stray strand of hair and retreated to her seat. If London needed anything, even if it was just conversation, he’d let her know.
London was silent for a moment, contemplating whether or not he should tell her his fears. He took in a deep breath, looking over to her.
"Janne." He said. "I need to ask you a questions. "And I need you to be completely honest with me."
"Janne." He said. "I need to ask you a questions. "And I need you to be completely honest with me."
Looking up, the woman searched for eye contact. “Hm? Oh, yes?” Janne crossed her legs and passed her tongue over her lips slightly. He seemed hesitant, as if he had something to say. She fixed her dress as she awaited him to speak.
"I know my father wanted me to take over for him." He said after a moment, standing up from the desk and going over to the window again. Looking out thoughtfully. "And he taught me everything he could to prepare for that eventuality..... "I am.....worried, Janne. "I am going to do my absolute best to follow in his steps. "But what if I fail? "And I ruin.....everything he has built all these years?"
Janne shook her head. “Your father wasn’t the perfect Godfather, London, and nor will you be. You’ll make mistakes, sure, but it’s what you do next.” She got up and stood beside him. “You just need to think your way through. Do what you know to be best. If you make a mistake, build the family past that.”
She was right after all. His father may have been respected and everything. But he like most people, wasn't perfect. He still knew he had some big shoes to fill. But he was sort of glad he had talked this through with her. His moment of weakness gone, he nodded and turned to face her.
"I am glad to have you by my side." He said putting his hand on her shoulder for a moment. "Things are bound to run smoothly with you to assist me."

She turned her head to look at him and nodded with a soft smile of admiration. “I do what I can, Godfather. There will be times I won’t be around and you’ll have to work with your Concierge. He’ll advise you on those who set meetings with you.” Janne held his eyes for a moment before looking out to the gate through the window. “How are you going to present yourself to the world tonight? The Bruchettis are sure to have their press investors write about your new title”
He knew his concierge would help, but he was sure she could help more. He shook that away for now. He dropped his hand to his side, as she asked about tonight. His hands going into his pockets.
"As my father would want me to." He said. "The strength my father had, I'll continue to show."
"As my father would want me to." He said. "The strength my father had, I'll continue to show."
She leaned against the side of the wall. “Good. I’m sure you’ll be fine.” Janne said and folded her arms under her breasts. “Tonight I’ll meet you in the main hall bu 5:30. We can discuss from there. Wear red accents”
She was really all business, he kind of liked that about her. Tonight would be his first meeting as Godfather, and his introduction to the world. He wasn't going to disappoint. He would remember to be early, and red he could do.
"I'll see you then." He said to her.
"I'll see you then." He said to her.
When five pm rolled around, Janne was waiting in the main hall talking to Cole. Her hair was down over her bare shoulders as she slid her phone into her silver clutch bag. She was dressed the same as she was earlier, now wearing makeup and had done her hair. Janne wasn’t quite sure what to expect but she waited patiently for the Godfather.
London got ready, coming down right at five. His suit was black, but his tie and the square in his pocket was red. He fixed his cuff link for a moment, before he came down the stairs. For a moment he noticed Janne, but quickly snapped back into all business.
"If we're ready, lets go." He said, heading for the door.
"If we're ready, lets go." He said, heading for the door.
Janne pushes herself off the wall and followed him to the car, leaning in to tell the driver where they were going. she got in the back, Cole getting in the passenger front seat. “Avoid tolls.” she hummed as the driver pulled off. Janne took off her heels and set them aside beside her feet, not wanting to wear them longer than she had to.
His face was as straight as usual, though he took in a mental breath. Show time, he thought to himself as he got into the back seat of the car. He sat back in the seat, his hands folded. Though his finger was absently playing with the ring on his hand.
“Nervous?” she hummed, raising an eyebrow to his absent fiddling. Janne laced her fingers together and eyed the road behind them from the rear view mirror. “You’ll be fine...just don’t screw up.” She meant that as a joke, even if her voice was slightly flat. Janne wasn’t the best at jokes, she had to admit. Looking to the man beside her she purses her red lips
