My father-in-law was a POW so this topic hits home with me. I enjoy (sad, but true) listening to his stories as I feel this is an important period of history. His memory is going and I am glad that we have many of his stories written down/recorded so our family can remember.
I also read a few fiction and YA books that dealt with this genre that I have also enjoyed but I won't list them here.
