As horrible as it was - it is interesting to read, to see how cruel we as humans can be and makes us wonder how such things could happen.

I remember reading Treblinka many years ago and the images stayed with me ever since. I have read a few more since than and would welcome any comments, book recommendations and discussions on this topic

Sandy Scheisshaus Luck: Surviving the Unspeakable in Auschwitz and Dora
Auschwitz: A Doctor's Eyewitness Account

My father-in-law was a POW so this topic hits home with me. I enjoy (sad, but true) listening to his stories as I feel this is an important period of history. His memory is going and I am glad that we have many of his stories written down/recorded so our family can remember.

I also read a few fiction and YA books that dealt with this genre that I have also enjoyed but I won't list them here.

Sandy I just read Surviving the Angel of Death by Eva Kor. Excellent read, I highly recommend this true account written by Eva of her story ( and her family/ twin sisters) during the holocaust.
