Just finished Upside Down in the Middle of Nowhere. I loved Armani's voice throughout the book, as well as her strong passion for her family and her home. I also felt the author did such a fine job of allowing the reader to be right there with Armani throughout the storm and its aftermath. I also appreciated that the story was not wrapped up neatly. It's a book that will stay with me for awhile. It's a contender for me.

We have an adult book club reading children's lit in my district. We are currently reading Inside Out & Back Again. I'm looking for some suggestions to recommend to the group. I'd like to find something I haven't read or a title that I missed in the last few years. The stipulations are that they are available in paperback or at the library without a long hold list. While I find it great to reread a book a second time, which I am finding in IO&BA I want to read something new. Any ideas welcome!
