Does this link work for everyone?
http://doodle.com/p23tvywyfqe3fndb
It ideally should take you to a place where you can mark the proposed dates as which ones work best for you. Once everyone weighs in, we can pick a date that works best for most people. Let me know if it's not doing what I hope it's doing.
For location, I'd like to pick a place that has a variety of things to eat and drink - so if you want a burger and a beer, or just a diet coke, there's something for everyone. We were discussing last night that somewhere in the Short North might be fun, but at the same time it does have a rather inconvenient parking situation.

I submitted my days on Doodle, unfortunately they are the exact opposite of Beth's availability! Although the last week in October might get busy with everyone's trick or treat/Halloween schedules/plans.
I was thinking later after posting it about how everyone's trick or treat schedule may fall on a different night! I can definitely add some dates from the prior week for consideration too, if we need it.
The bookstore & book discussion were great! I really enjoyed it & look forward our next meeting. Thanks again Brooke!!
I did forget to respond to that part of the question...sometimes I forget to EAT at work these days! Yes, the bookstore and subsequent discussion were great, Rachel and Lori were just wonderful to talk with and didn't make fun of me for my initial awkward, "Is that them? What if I introduce myself and that's not who I'm meeting?" moment!
I had a great time too! I'm definitely looking forward to meeting up again in October!! Also, I think we all accepted that it would be awkward in the beginning. But I think it turned out okay! :-)
I'll keep the poll up until Wednesday at 9:00 pm and then announce the meeting date after that, so be sure to record your availability!

Oh, and I added my availability.
The October book is Anna Dressed in Blood. I thought that the group reads would update automatically because of the dates, but apparently the functionality of the group bookshelf is not THAT cool! :) I have updated it so it should show up on the front page.
You can click on the group's "bookshelf" link to see the books by month, or else you can follow the link to the main FYA website that's included in the group info header to show the upcoming schedule.

As far as location, I am thinking Red Door Tavern in Grandview. http://www.reddoortavern.com/index.html
Grandview has the benefit of being centrally located, and RDT has a pretty good atmosphere for conversing.
I'm also open to other ideas!

I am not sure if I will be able to make it or not on the 27th. It depends on how much progress I make on Halloween costumes this weekend. :) Red Door Tavern is fine with me. Is anyone else planning on going?
What are the costumes you're putting together, Rachel? I like to live vicariously through other people, I haven't had an excuse to dress up in a while, and my dogs don't take to costumes as much as a kid would. :)
Matilda wants to be Luna Lovegood, but so far all we have is a house scarf & radish earrings. :) She wants to make a cork necklace, & I am supposed to be sewing her a cloak.

I will not be attending this month (since I haven't even started the book). Sorry ladies. Been really super busy gearing up for the start of school next month! Have tons of fun!
I love the idea of a Luna Lovegood costume! I'll bet that will turn out wonderfully.
Sorry to hear that Janelle, I keep looking forward to meeting you! Maybe next time.

What about The Book Loft or Cover To Cover? I think it's pretty readily available at the library, too.

I'm trying out a feature I didn't know we had - setting up an "event" notice for Monday, with an accompanying email (I think) invitation. I know some people have already chimed in with their answers, but I wanted to see how the event/invite feature works!

What if we looked into one of the party rooms at Panera? They are free and clean, plus food would be easy since it's right there.
