I think Nora is 100% correct. Victor loving Izabel has compromised him. He can no longer be as efficient a killer as he once was. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, however it will be for them because Victor isn't accustomed to these emotions and thinking about others' feelings and safety. Living like this isn't easy for him. Additionally, Victor now wants to take over The Order! All that responsibility as well as cleaning up after Izabel is going to cause something to give. He may end up killing Dina or having her killed... Izabel needs to adapt to their life a lot more.

I do think Nora was partly correct but like you said it isn't necessarily a bad thing. I feel that everyone kind of needs something to care about and Victor's 'something' is Izabel. I don't agree with everyone (Nora and Niklas mainly) trying to force them apart. I think Victor could still be the best at what he does but also still love and care about Izabel. They just need to accept that both of them need to change, for example I also think that Izabel needs to adapt to their life, like maybe leaving Dina to live her own life and for her to live hers separately.
I loved Seeds of Iniquity :) And I can't wait for the next one. It was all kind of left up in the air, wasn't it? Like I want to read more of Fredrik. And find out what happens with Dorian and with Niklas and Victor and I wonder if Izabel will tell Victor about her child.

I don't agree with everyone trying to force them apart, either. But I understand their motivations. Initially, Niklas wanted them apart because he didn't like losing his position as the person closest to Victor. Now, Niklas wants them apart because he doesn't think she's qualified and he doesn't want to see her hurt. Nora, I think, was simply toying with Izabel by coming on to Victor. I just think Nora sees that they're doomed if they keep going as they have been. I agree. Both Victor and Izabel need to change.
I really enjoyed SEEDS, too. Although, my favorite is book 1, Killing Sarai :) I'm so hooked on this series. I can't wait for the next one either. Yeah, there were a lot of loose ends. I like Dorian! I hope he makes it out of this OK. I think Victor will find out about Izabel's child before she tells him. Maybe Fredrik and Nora will get together...
It was nice to see Niklas admitting he didn't hate Izabel in Seeds of Iniquity, I really hope we see them have more of a bond in the next book.I think you're right about Victor maybe finding out about Izabel's child before she tells him but I hope we're wrong. I want her to tell him first, I really hoped she was going to tell him at the end of Seeds of Iniquity but then she decided not to tell him at all and I was really disappointed because I dislike when characters keep secrets from those they care about but I can kind of get why she wanted it to be kept secret.
At first I thought maybe Nora and Niklas would get together because of him having loved her sister and he might've felt a connection to her because of it but then I thought maybe it would be too weird. Thinking about it now I do think Fredrik is better suited for Nora because they both have very shut off emotions.
All the characters in this series have such tragic backstories. I really just want them to have a little happiness for once, lol.
Yeah, after reading SOI I am finally warming up to the brusque German. :) I want him and 'Izzy' to be close, too. I hope we're wrong, too. But she really should've told him by now. There's no reason to keep it a secret. I can't see her fearing that Victor would kill her child. I was a little disappointed with Izabel in this entry. She behaved like a petulant child throughout most of the book. Izabel is good at her job, but she isn't as qualified as the other agents and may never be. They've trained for a lot longer than she has. She needs to accept that. Plus Victor loves her and there are certain missions he will never allow her to go on. It is her reality she needs to accept that and stop acting out.
Yeah, I like the idea of Fredrik and Nora together. They can handle each other's... idiosyncrasies. LOL.
I want to know more about the delectable Dorian. He's still pretty much a mystery.
I think Victor will find out about the child on their next mission in Mexico.I agree with Izabel acting like a child in SOI especially when Victor was talking to Nora and then Izabel burst into the room and tried to attack her. I thought Izabel would have more trust in her relationship with Victor and would not rise to the bait. But at the same time I feel that because of her messed up background that it's understandable for her to act certain ways. She's come to rely so much on Victor that when anything threatens that she goes mad, which probably isn't healthy for their relationship but it's understandable because they're not 'normal' people.
I want to know more of Dorian also. Mainly to see if he's okay after dealing with Fredrik, lol.
I agree. I wonder how he'll react knowing that Izabel kept her child a secret from him.Again, I agree. And I also think that Izabel is threatened by Nora because she's a superior and more capable agent than Izabel will ever be. And in her heart she knows that if Victor were involved with Nora he'd be safer.
I know! I wonder what Fredrik did to Dorian?! I really liked them working together in The Swan and The Jackal! They play off each other very well.
I think Victor will be more angry or upset because she choose to keep the child a secret from him instead of just telling him.I agree with Izabel being threatened by Nora because she's superior than her. I never really thought about her thinking Victor would be safer with Nora but now that I am it makes total sense as to why she felt that way towards Nora.
But I'm glad Nora is training Izabel to be better. I think Nora could be a great character and even become Izabel's friend if she doesn't mess up her relationship with Victor. :)
So do I . Victor's feeling will be very hurt.Yep. I noticed it when Izabel noticed Victor's fascination with Nora. He called Nora a female version of himself, didn't he? And that's when the jealousy began. Add to that that Nora is an amazing agent and Izabel feels very threatened. No matter how hard Izabel trains she will never be as good as Victor, Niklas, or Nora. Their training began as very young children. There are certain things that are ingrained in their psyche... that detached coldness (remember when Niklas told Izabel that Victor should have sent her back to Javier despite her protests?)...Izabel will never possess that. Her emotions will ALWAYS cloud her judgement. She needs to get and handle on that and grown-up for goodness' sake!
I'm glad Nora's training her, too. She needs someone who isn't going to go easy on her. I wonder if Nora will interfere with their relationship--- just for the heck of it. LOL.
I'm kind of torn between wanting Izabel to become more like Nora and Victor and not wanting her to become more like them. I mean I would like her to fit in more with them and become a better killer by letting go of her emotions but in another sense I feel that her emotions make us (as readers) have more of a connection with her and her storyline. I would like Izabel to be better at controlling her emotions but not to get rid of them completely.Nora seemed fairly settled with Victor and Izabel by the end of SOI. It was Izabel who let her into the group so I hope she remembers that and doesn't stir up any trouble. :)
I agree with your statement about Izabel having better control of her emotions. These emotional outbursts are becoming irritating. I think Nora will stir up trouble, but I'm not sure what kind yet... I don't know if she'll try to come between Victor and Izabel or try to stir things up even more between Victor and Niklas and then there is always this malicious teasing she inflicts on Fredrik... Nora will definitely keep things interesting. :)
We only got to see Nora as part of the group at the end of SOI so it would be interesting to see how the others deal with her. Most seemed okay at the meeting near the end but Niklas and Dorian weren't there so I wonder how they'll react. :) You're right Nora will definitely keep things interesting.
I think Dorian and Niklas will be very angry with Nora, initially. But I think Niklas will hate her with a passion! LOL. I can't wait to see her enter the compound s a sex slave! That's going to be crazy. Hell, Izabel might sneak in there with her. That was a seriously moronic suggestion on Izabel's part. There are any number of people who could recognize her. When Izabel starts making irrational suggestions she is so irritating.
I know, when Izabel suggested going instead I was like 'What?! What are you doing?' lol. She should just leave it to Nora but I don't think she will. Like you said she'll probably sneak in with her and cause a lot more hassle. I think when she suggested that she just wanted to prove herself to the rest of the group but if that's the case she's definitely going the wrong way about it. :)

But I hope whatever drama happens in the next book won't tear victor and Izabel apart; despite her secrets

I really like Izabel, however she needs to start acting like an adult and leave the reckless child in the past. Acting like an adult doesn't mean she has to be boring, but she needs to be smart. The whole scene with Willem in Reviving Izabel was soooooooooooo stupid. Izabel loses her hotel key cards during the confrontation in Willem's office, so what does she do? She goes back to the same hotel and goes to sleep!!!! That was colossally stupid; very idiotic. She needs to stop being so reckless and start thinking things through.

I just can't see that happening; I can't see Victor letting Izabel go out in the world as a contract killer... alone.
Yeah I think Izabel needs a lot more training before going on a solo mission.I can't really see Izabel and Victor splitting up because of her keeping the child a secret. But I do think their relationship might be on the rocks for a bit in the future because of Nora getting in Izabel's head and making her think Victor's love for her has compromised him. Hopefully they don't split up though. :)

I definitely agree that Izabel and Victor's relationship will be in a bad place in the next book. I really hope it doesn't go as far as them breaking up. I wonder where Javier placed their child? Izabel has shown zero interest in looking for her child since she's been free. If only to know where he/she is and make sure he/she is safe.
Yeah, I thought it was weird and cold of Izabel to not look for her child to see if they were safe. I can only think that maybe she's afraid of finding out about her child because she did mention that Javier gave the children that were born there to good parents so I think she's probably just convinced herself that's true even though there's that chance that it's not true. I do think in the next book her feelings for her child will be brought up more.
