What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

**SOLVED** A woman searches for her husband in London following a virus/zombie outbreak. Female author, published this year.

I've held the hard back in my hands this year but I can't remember the name of the book or the author. The author is quoted as saying it could be the first in trilogy.

There's no mention of zombie/virus in the title.

I've just remembered another detail - the husband was a scientist working on a cure for the virus as the outbreak happens, hence the woman travelling against the tide of evacuees to go into London to find him.

I think this is very unlikely to be right but the only thing I can find that's close is Last Light.

When you say virus/zombie outbreak do you mean a virus that turns people into zombies, or are you just saying that it's some sort of disaster like zombies or a virus but you don't know exactly what?
