Here's where everyone can talk about the first book, its plot, its characters, and my mutilation of Shakespearean English.

Jenelle | 7 comments hee hee, the Shakespearian English did sort of bug me for a bit, but even though it wasn't strictly correct, you did keep it consistent, so I thought it ended up working just fine.

I really liked Robin and Robert, by the way. I kind of got the feeling they were going to decide not to switch their gifts back in the end, but wandering along with them on their quest it was fun to see the process by which they came to that conclusion as well.

I'm very curious to see how the overarching plot unfolds in the next books.

Morgan | 21 comments I loved the whole relationship between Robin and Eric, and how it developed. Their engagement scene is awesome. :D I really do love Eric.

Shakespearean English...you did it a lot better later. And no matter how it was, the point was that they talked different, so it's not that big of a deal.

I got some pretty scathing reviews on Sew's usage, one person telling me that I needed to suffer though reading a huge volume of Shakespeare's work ... so I did some study, found some imfographics, and figured out how our old language worked. I now wince when I read over the worst of it in Sew, and I do intend to go through and fix it sometime this year.

And yes!! Robin and Eric are SO adorable together. I just love writing with them.

I kind of ended up liking that it wasn't strictly "correct" - because it's not OUR world anyway, so their olden-day language rules might have been different. But I can also understand the desire to "fix" it. I have a hard time not constantly tweaking my own books!

It's still not 100% correct, but since most of the cast now used this speech, rather than just Rosamond and Doranna, it was a bit awkward and stiff, so I loosened it up, got my thee/thou/ye/you usage correct, and now it feels much more natural for everyday conversation.

All right everyone, speak now or forever hold your peace! I'm currently doing a MAJOR revision of Sew, It's a Quest and need to know - Is there anything you would like to see clarified, or anything that really bothered you that you'd like to see changed.

I'm not making promises, and obviously, I'm NOT going to make any major changes to the plot, but here's your chance to let your voice be heard.
