The Hawk and the Wolf discussion

There's a new review of "The Hawk and the WOlf" out from the Englewood Review of Books (http://erb.kingdomnow.org/?p=476). It's generally favourable, but not entirely (I actually welcome negative criticism--that's how we improve). I'd be glad of your comments, though--what do you think of the review?

Hi Mark! The one thing that struck me about this review is that when I read your book, I never felt 'outside the drama' or any 'emotional distance' from Merlin. As a reader, I was engaged throughout the entire story and liked your Merlin very much. And I still think Westbank should pick up the rest of your books! :-)

I wonder if Mr. Schindler is a little too old to appreciate a teenage hero?
