These books do have a bit of the fallen angel or something about battle good vs evil but these point more toward world building than morality
I kind of thought this post seemed a little contradictory, but I see that there's plenty of work fitting the bill! Interesting...
Fall For Me by K.A. Last has fallen angels and regular ones, but is very non-religious. The angels are more bureaucratic than anything, and there's not much in the way of faith or divine intervention. The angels on earth are generally warring vampires, like guardians.
Hi, not meaning to self promote, but my Angels Above and Below fits this bill, out in spring 2015. And there's me thinking I had a USP. Sigh ...
