Fact is Eddard Stark was sworn to secrecy by his sister at the Tower of Joy. A Tower named by Rhaegar Targaryen due to his joy of being there with a woman that most show watchers think he kidnapped. For those of you up on it all, do you think the secret will ever be revealed> Only Reed is left alive now who knows. That's Howland Reed, the father of Jojen who did not die in the books as of yet, but was killed in the HBO show.
