When the author explained how the bomb worked whenever it needed to be diffused (page 100 in my copy), it made it easy for me to comprehend what it looked like and it's different functions. The author was very descriptive like when he said "Each bell hammer was set one-third of an inch between us and the disaster", allows me to understand how serious the situation was.

The author knows how to discuss many scientific terms.

The author knew how to explain all the science stuff really well. He made it easy to understand and he broke it down.
