Scott S. Me and a few audiobook coworkers want to queue up some spooky listens for the upcoming month and we're looking for suggestions as we don't frequent the genre. Our tastes are similar. In the past we've enjoyed horror with humor to it, but it isn't absolutely necessary. We'd like to steer clear of series, but not absolutely necessary. Here are some that have been well received by all:

John Dies at the End Series
Sigler books
Wolf Hunt 1 & 2
World War Z
...Apocalypse Cow
Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Just looking around here are a few I've been considering:
Phantoms - Dean Koontz
Hold Me Closer Necromancer
Hunted - Darcy Coates

Away from the horror genre we love books like Old Man's War, Monster Hunster International, Dresden Files

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I have several I can recommend but they're not available on audio, here's a few with humor that are:

Bunny by Mona Awad Bunny
My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite My Sister, the Serial Killer

Here's a few that aren't on audio but have a humor/horror mix:
Night Shoot by David Sodergren Night Shoot
Scapegoat by Adam Howe Scapegoat
Sleep in the Dust of the Earth by Anthony Hains Sleep in the Dust of the Earth

Also, anything by author Jeff Strand!

Scott S. Thanks. I already enjoyed the Grim Reaper books.

I'll check out Zombie Bigfoot, I've been hung up on monster books lately. Snowblind was really good and Down From Beast Mountain is up next.
