I like to write, mostly really dark science fiction. I also put a lot of thought into my writing, keeping the science as real as possible while leaving room for speculation.

My name is Pennyyy, normally spelled with only one y, but oh well; I've always loved reading, I read mostly fantasy fiction, so most of my lil writings play on that. I don't write as often as I would like sadly, it's actually not that often at all, but I absolutely love love love just sitting and writing for a little, just random short stories here and there. Sometimes I'll write a story in a fit of emotions, because I find it's makes a lovely outlet for that;)

I really hope that this group with motivate and encourage me to pick up the pen more often, and I look forward to writing and sharing writing with all of you!!😁😁

Hi everyone!

My name is Lindsay and I’ve been writing for a number of years. I’ve had many mishaps when it came to my first novel aka writing it and the misadventures that surrounded it. I.e. it’d go missing, it wasn’t backed up, I didn’t like it and scrapped it, etc.

I’m still currently working on my first novel which is a new story overall since I tend to scrap most of my ideas but I do keep them in a storage just in case.

I’m currently having laptop issues so I’m unable to type from my own which means I can’t work on said novel.

So I’m here to fill up the gaps of time I have open regardless of my laptop situation and make friends through the power of written language!

Am I doing this right? I’m scared I’ve typed too much...

Also, I completely understand the laptop issues. I used my phone to write a lot, but roughly a month ago my phone stopped working, and through a series of bad coincidences, I ended up losing almost all of my data. Luckily, the really important stuff--like the book I'm writing--were on Google Docs, so at least that stuff isn't lost. But some of my first short stories are now probably lost forever.

That's kind of sad. Also, your right. You can never type too much. I'm starting to think that's why my teachers ask me to write less.... But anyway, I love writing, and I can relate to laptop issues. Mine sometimes shuts down itself, but then restores? It's weird. I'm going to get it fixed.

What do you all think I look like?

I’m kind of imagining you with light brown skin and wavy brown hair, and maybe some hazel eyes.

Like a tan white person, possibly with some Latina mixed in. I don’t know. I’m for some reason imaging you like one of the characters from the book I’m reading.

Hi, I'm Ariana! I love to write and read fantasy, and I've been experimenting with science fiction. I think that writing prompts are super fun, and I've been writing a story that I'm really enjoying thanks to one.

What do you think I look like?

Umm...pale white with straight dark hair and, uhh...light brown eyes.

That is a definitely real photo of me.

But actually, you were surprisingly close with your description of me.

I'm fairly tall, have pale-ish skin (depending on the lighting), long and very straight brown hair, and the most unique eye color I've ever seen. It's mostly gray with this ginger ring around the pupil (turns out it's called central heterochromia), and they sometimes look turquoise in sunlight, which is weird. So your description of curly brown hair and blue eyes was close-ish.

Honestly, it's hard to picture people solely based on personality.

Yeah, but central heterochromia is a variation of that where you have multiple colors in one eye.

So my eyes basically look like this (the picture looks terrible because 1. I'm sick, probably with bronchitis, and 2. my phone camera is refusing to cooperate):

So basically, I'm not crying, it's just that my eyes are watery because I feel like I'm coughing up sandpaper and my throat and chest are in pain.
