Historical Info for Historical Fiction Readers discussion

Hello

I have a question for which I have yet to find an answer. Is there a book or some books that give historical insights about various famous world leaders, presidents, dictators, monarchs, etc., but not about one specific leader. I want a book that does that with multiple leaders inside its pages, possibly and probably in brief.

I'm thinking A Place of Greater Safety, maybe, about three leaders of the French Revolution.

I haven't read it yet.
