NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in November will begin its 20th year anniversary on a new site.

While the new host (Discourse) offers more flexibility than the old site, NaNo is going through some transition struggles.

None of the old buddies from before have transferred to the new site. You must sign into the site (your old ID is valid) but it doesn't become recognizable to anyone, until you sign in.

Then, you also have to request, approve or deny buddy relationships.
