Oh shoot! I didn't realize this was book 2 and I haven't read book 1. I'm sorry! I doubt seriously that I can get and read book 1 by Wednesday since I have so many other books to finish. Ugh...so sorry!!

If I can get this book fast enough I will definitely join you guys!

Well I think my problem is that Finn in the TV isn't in the books and is similar to Bellamy in the books and Bellamy in the TV show is more like someone else, not the Bellamy from book.

I can find your BR thread for the 100 but not mine from months before. Am I am sure I made notes about it for myself. Gah!!

Just finished. Very true. This series just isn't working for me. I think watching the show first and reading the books second ruined it.

I'm rethinking if I want to spend my time on these two books.

I am not sure why I read this one. I like because I quickly forgot book one, I forgot how little I liked it.

I haven't started book one, but I have both books. Your thoughts on them made me think maybe it's not worth my time.

Just finished! not sure about rating yet, but I agree with Mandiann.. definitely not feeling this series.. but then again I haven't watched the show so that hasn't ruined it for me, it's just nothing special. :(

I wouldn't recommend watching show first then reading the books, they've changed a lot of things from what I've heard. Maybe I'll like the show more tho, going to check it out now that I've read these:)

Yes, they have made many changes and yes, I do like what I have seen of the show better than the books so far.

I also didn't really enjoy book 1, but I felt like the story had potential. I did however watch the first season, and I think the show its more my style. Im still gonna read the books, in case they cancel the show (really hope not). I have a test today, but I'll catch up soon!

OK so I know I'm late, but my book FINALLY arrived last night.
I'm going to start asap.

Also, I'm about halfway in the first season and although it's different from the books I'm really liking it.
